The options in this section allow you to define the sidebar that is displayed on the righthand side of the blog pages, and is used by visitors to search for and navigate the posts.
The next section gives a summary of the Title and Type of the blocks in the sidebar, and the commands for creating the block list:
▪ | Add...: this opens the Side Block where you can add a new block. |
▪ | Duplicate: you can copy the selected block. |
▪ | Remove: you can delete a block from the list. |
▪ | Move up / Move down: you can move the selected block up or down in the list. |
▪ | Edit...: this opens the Side Block window, where you can edit the block selected from the list. |
A Preview is reported next to the Summary table. Below, the commands needed to define the Graphic Style that will be common to all Blocks, regardless of their content, are reported.
You first need to select the Block Element you want to work on using the appropriate drop-down menu. The available options vary according to the selected element:
• | Width: to set the Block width in pixels. |
• | Margin: to set the distance between Blocks (top and bottom), between Blocks and page content (left), and between Blocks and page margin (right). |
• | Border: to draw the edge of Blocks by defining its color, thickness, bevel factor for corners, and applying a shadow. |
• | Color: indicates the color to use for the background. |
• | Image File: indicates the image file (.JPG, .GIF, .PNG.) for the picture to use as the background. |
• | Repeat: indicates whether the page background image is to be repeated, or not. It can be repeated horizontally, vertically or in both directions so that it occupies all the available space. The background image can also be resized so that it adapts to the available space. |
• | Alignment: to define the background image alignment according to the Block. |
• | Font Type: specifies the font, style and size to use for the text. |
• | Text Color: specifies the color to use for the text. |
• | Margin: to set the value in pixels for the margin, which is the space between the edge of the Block and the contained text. |
• | Separation line: to define the color of the separation line (otherwise set as transparent), displayed underneath the title. |
• | Image file: to select the graphic file related to the image to be used as a point to be placed next to the list items. |
• | Color: to define the color of the bullet point. |
• | Separation line: to define the color of the separation line (otherwise set as transparent) between the list rows. |
