Use the commands in this section to specify which products are to appear in the Product List object.
The product selection can be made using filters or manually: select the solution you prefer from the drop-down menu.
If you go for the Selection with filters, the column on the left report the available filers:
| ▪ | Category: it reports the categories created when setting up the Product catalog on the Shopping Cart | Product List window. |
| ▪ | Only display: New Products / Discounted Products / Availability: according to what reported on the Product Settings window. |
All products corresponding to the set filters are displayed in the Displayed Products section placed on the right. You can define the way they are displayed with the Arrangement option or using the arrows.
If, on the other hand, you decide to proceed with the Manual Selection, the column on the left reports the whole Category and Product List inserted when the Shopping Cart was created in Step 1 - Website Settings.
There is a check box next to each category and product: click on the check boxes to add categories/products to the Product List you are creating. Also in this case, the selected Products are automatically reported in the Displayed Products section on the right, so that you can go on and rearrange them.

Selecting a category or selecting all the products in a category is not the same thing: only in the first case, if new products are subsequently added to the category you added to the Product List, they too will be added automatically to the same Product List. |
Whether you proceed with manual product selection or decide to use filters, you can activate the Maximum Number of Products option to have a limited number of products displayed in the Product Catalog Object compared to those selected.
