MagicSite is an AI-based website generation assistant integrated into WebSite X5 starting from version 2025.3.

Through an internal chat, MagicSite collects all the essential information about the project — the type of website to be created, the preferred style, the main content — interprets it in light of what it has learned during its training, and uses it to automatically generate a structured website consistent with the user’s requests.

MagicSite knows the best practices in fields such as Web Design, usability, and SEO, and is capable of generating a template, setting up the structure of a website, creating textual content, selecting images, and delivering a complete, modern, and effective project.

This project can then be opened in the classic WebSite X5 editor and freely modified in every detail. After making all desired customizations, it will finally be possible to proceed with the online publication of the pages.

MagicSite, therefore, does not replace the creativity of its users but provides an intelligent starting point, allowing anyone — even those without specific experience — to create, in an even simpler and faster way, perfect websites tailored to their needs.

Using MagicSite is very simple. Once a new project has been started and the use of MagicSite has been selected, an interactive chat opens: to proceed, simply answer freely the questions that are proposed. There are no predefined questions or restrictions on the answers; in general, it is only necessary to reply in a detailed way, because the more details are provided, the more the generated website will meet your needs.

By clicking the [IMG] button in the field where the answers are written, you can access some commands that can help during the chat:

Go to template selection: MagicSite reformulates the question and offers further suggestions on how to reply.
Skip question: useful if you believe the request is not relevant to the website you want to create.
End chat and continue: if enough information has already been provided, this option allows you to end the chat and move directly to the next step.

These buttons are simple shortcuts: the same result can be obtained by writing directly in the chat. At any time, it is also possible to reconsider an answer previously given.

Click to expand/collapseReference: Choose the style

Once the interview phase is completed, MagicSite suggests from 2 to 4 styles that it considers suitable for the project.

Each style includes:

tone of voice;
color palette;
font;
text style.

Simply click on the preferred palette to select it and then click on the Confirm style button.

Click to expand/collapseReference: Set up the pages

MagicSite tends to create websites rich in pages and content. Based on the information collected and what it considers best for the project, it develops and proposes a site map and asks for confirmation of which pages you want to be actually generated.

In general, MagicSite proposes:

a main navigation menu with first-level items (for example, “Home”, “About Us”, or “Contacts”);
sub-levels for some main items (for example, for “Services” there could be a sub-level with one page for each type of service offered);
extra pages (for example, “Privacy Policy” or “Terms and Conditions”), which are generally placed in the footer of the website.

Simply click to check or uncheck the box next to each proposed page to indicate which ones should be generated. Finally, confirm your choices by clicking Confirm Map.

A page that cannot be missing from any website is the Home Page: for this reason, it is the only one that cannot be deselected.

After collecting the information through the initial chat and confirming the style and page map, MagicSite has everything it needs to generate the website.

The time required for the actual generation of the pages may vary depending on several factors, including: the topic covered; the type and complexity of the project; the connection speed; and the number of requests being processed by MagicSite.

You simply need to wait a few minutes, possibly allowing MagicSite to run in the background, without interrupting the process or the Internet connection.

Click to expand/collapseReference: Edit and publish the website

Once the generation phase is completed, the website project is ready and MagicSite offers the following commands:

Preview: opens the generated website in preview in the local browser.
Edit and publish: opens the generated website project in the classic WebSite X5 builder.

Once opened in WebSite X5, the project generated by MagicSite can be fully customized: the template, map, pages, and contents can be modified to perfectly meet your needs. After making all the necessary changes, all that remains is to proceed with the online publication of the pages to have your new website live.
