To enjoy maximum creative freedom when creating a website, you can choose to start from an Empty Template instead of a Predefined Template.
In addition to the completely empty template, equivalent to a blank page, WebSite X5 also includes some templates in which only a basic structure has already been set up.
When hovering over the preview images of the Empty Templates, the following buttons appear:
| ▪ | Preview: opens the template preview in the local browser window. This allows you to browse the template pages to assess how it has been structured. |
| ▪ | Edit this template: creates a new project starting from the displayed template. In this case, you will access Step 1 - Settings, where you can begin defining some general parameters related to the project. |
|
All the options for defining the graphic layout of the template are available in Step 2 - Template. |
Empty templates that include a basic structure are already configured to support the creation of responsive websites and, consequently, include some breakpoints. Naturally, it is then possible to add, remove, or modify the existing breakpoints.
